Anzac Day Poem

Remember those who fought for us,
England helped fight too,
Men bravely fought but didn't succeed,
Europe was the continet that the battle was on,
Men arived in boats,
Bombs exploding,
Every gun made a bang,
Running around ducking from bombs.

Who am I?

To my brother I am annoying and bossy,
To my mum I am bright and confident,
To my dad I am cheeky and funny,
To my nana I am cute but tall.

To my friends I am cool and fun-loving,
To my aunt I am amazing but a computer geek,
To my dance teacher I am positive and flexible,
To my cousins I am small and a give-it-all-a-go person.

Anzac Day Poems

Remember the men running to battle stations,
Explosives blowing up, killing soldiers,
Mines exploding and blowing people up,
Exploring the strange place.
Many people died in the war,
Bleeding people suffering on the ground,
Emergency supplies rushing in,
Rabbits running everywhere.

By Nils

Remember why the poppies grow,
Even if it brings sadness,
Murdered men lying everywhere,
England fought beside the Anzacs,
Many battled but died,
Brave men got wounded,
Enemies won or got killed,
Remember, remember that day.
