Anzac Day Poems

Remember the men running to battle stations,
Explosives blowing up, killing soldiers,
Mines exploding and blowing people up,
Exploring the strange place.
Many people died in the war,
Bleeding people suffering on the ground,
Emergency supplies rushing in,
Rabbits running everywhere.

By Nils

Remember why the poppies grow,
Even if it brings sadness,
Murdered men lying everywhere,
England fought beside the Anzacs,
Many battled but died,
Brave men got wounded,
Enemies won or got killed,
Remember, remember that day.
